In 2025 we are organising the 9th edition of the certified course Actor's Consciousness on Stage, in the format of a summer artistic residency.
With a total workload of 175 hours, organised into 7 modules of 25 hours each, the syllabus follows a methodological system in stages and a progressive development of the techniques to be acquired.
Each Modular Training begins with an experiential exercise in which participants are challenged to construct theatrical moments from sensory memories. It also includes seven knowledge units which, in turn, address seven theatre tools through practical and theoretical exercises. All Modular Training courses end with a final commented exercise in which the actors apply the theatrical tools while clarifying their artistic gesture.

02_PRESENCE dtime expansion and dynamic immobility : 2nd to 4th July
03_LAYERS of Expression separation and counter-scene : 7th to 9th Julho
04_GRADUATIONS of the Layers of Expression and credibility : 11st to 13rd July
05_INTERMEDIATE CHARACTER and the construction of ambivalence : 14th to 16th July
06_ACTING STYLES and artistic versatility : 19th to 21st July
07_AUTOMATISMS and charisma of the theatrical personality : 23rd to 25th July
days off: 5th and 6th, 10th, 17th e 18th, 22nd July
Final presentation of two Theatrical Exercises open to the public : 25th and 26th July
Collective assessment of the course : 27th July

tuition fee
The tuition fee is €2.100 (two thousand one hundred euros) and it includes
enrolment, accommodation, meals (except on days off) and personal accident
insurance.
Teatro O Bando supports applications submitted by 31st May, with a tuition fee of €1,800 (one thousand eight hundred euros).
As this is certified training, all fees are exempt from VAT.
